This was probably the most positive plumbing experience I’ve ever had (& I’m getting old, so that’s actually saying something). My husband was out of state when I discovered water puddled by the basement drain, & noticed the downstairs toilet was flushing slow. Like I said, this isn’t my first rodeo so I knew that wasn’t great (& could be very bad). One of my friends had recently needed a plumber & she recommended King George, so I called the first break I had at work (lunch time). The call was picked up quickly & the cheerful person I talked to could send someone right away. I had a guest at the house, so I texted to warn them & crossed my fingers. When I pulled up after work, no one was there but the puddle in the basement was gone & the toilet was back to normal. I got a bill in my email the next morning & it was very reasonable (like, don’t tell them but I was prepared for double what they charged me). As I started the review with, it was probably the best experience I’ve ever had with a plumber in my adult life. These guys were amazing. Very efficient and friendly. The problem fixed temporarily the first day but came back the next which was a weekend. They came back Monday first thing and fixed the problem permanently. And they didn’t charge us. That was so incredible and unheard of and helped us immensely.
